For example, you wake up after a full night’s rest and decide to watch Netflix, instead of working because “you deserve a day off.” Hence, you would miss your deadlines, which would lead to stress. Considering this, it can be stated that self-love is incomplete without self-discipline.
The concept promotes the idea of loving yourself unconditionally. It involves loving the person that you are, the body that you have, as well as the way that you think and express yourself. Self-love is an act of devotion to the physical, spiritual and mental self. It conveys that you are willing to prioritize yourself and offer yourself all the opportunities that you need to succeed. Hence, self-love cannot exist without self-discipline, as both ideas promote the movement towards betterment.

The latter can be explained by the fact that the more good you do for others, the better you feel about yourself. Positive emotions are contagious. You must learn the reasoning behind your actions, so you can truly understand and resolve your inner conflicts. For instance, if you struggle with anger management, you can reflect on your day to think about all the triggers that you experienced throughout the day. Next, you can ruminate on why you felt angry. If you keep asking and answering your own questions, you can come up with a suitable solution to your problems. This way, you can avoid getting angry in the future.
Stay hygienic and healthy
Your physical and mental forms are connected with one another. If you look good, you can feel good. Therefore, making healthier choices in your life can really make a difference regarding how you feel about yourself. You can take the initiative of eating healthy food, exercising regularly, and making sure that you are clean and well-taken care of!
Don’t restrict your spirituality
There is a difference between being spiritual and being religious. You can be spiritual, even when you are not a religious individual. Spirituality is defined as having faith in something. You can have faith in yourself, in your relationships and in your future. If you allow yourself to truly exude your spirituality, you can essentially find peace in your life.
